What is the typical shelf life of adhesive tape? What are the optimal storage conditions (temperature and humidity)?

   FAQ

Shelf Life What is the typical shelf life of Polyimide, PET, and Hot Fix tapes?

Under standard climate-controlled storage conditions, our industrial adhesive tapes carry a official shelf life of 6 months from the date of manufacture. When stored in original factory packaging, silicone-coated Polyimide tapes and Polyester tapes, as well as acrylic Hot Fix tapes, retain 100% of their peel strength, dielectric properties, and clean-removal performance.

Storage Temp & Humidity What is the recommended warehouse environment for storing high-temp adhesive rolls?

To prevent adhesive bleed, film telescoping, or tack loss, maintain strict control over temperature and humidity in your storage area. Avoid storing rolls directly on concrete floors or near heating ducts.

Optimal Storage Temp: 20°C – 25°C (68°F – 77°F)
Relative Humidity: 50% – 60% RH
Protection Practices: Keep in sealed plastic bags away from UV/direct sunlight
