1. The 4-Step Zero-Defect Heat Pressing Procedure
Step 1: Fabric Pre-Pressing (3–5 Seconds)
Never place transfer tape directly onto raw fabric. Pre-press the garment at 150°C for 3 to 5 seconds to flatten loose surface fibers and evaporate trapped humidity. Trapped moisture creates steam pockets during heat transfer, causing stone glue to foam and lose adhesion.
Step 2: Motif Placement & Firm Smooth-Down
Peel the white PP backing sheet away from your Acrylic Hot Fix Transfer Tape. Place the motif firmly onto the pre-pressed garment. Use a soft rubber squeegee or palm pressure to press the tape down from center to edge, ensuring zero air bubbles remain trapped around stone bases.
Step 3: Calibrated Heat Pressing (Temperature-Pressure-Time)
Lower the heated platen. For standard cotton and poly-blend fabrics, set the temperature to 160°C–170°C, pneumatic pressure to 4.0–5.0 bar, and dwell time to 12–15 seconds. For thick denim or fleece, add 3 seconds to allow heat to penetrate the fabric weave.
Step 4: The 180-Degree Flat Peel Technique
Allow the garment to cool down until warm or cool to the touch (approx. 15 seconds). Grab the tape corner and peel backwards smoothly at a sharp 180-degree flat angle against the garment. Never pull straight up (90-degree angle), as vertical pulling creates shear stress that lifts fresh hot-melt stone glue.
